Two kinds of status appear across conversations: the flow state (where a conversation is in its lifecycle) and the call status (the outcome of each individual call).
Flow states
A published conversation moves between these states:

Draft
Your working copy, edited freely and never receiving live traffic.
Live
The active version handling real conversations right now.
Paused
Temporarily stopped with no new conversations starting until it's resumed.
Archived
A retired version kept for history and reference.
Call outcomes · connected
Status
What it means
Completed
The call connected and ran to the end of the flow.
Ongoing
The call is connected and in progress right now.
User Hangup
Connected, but the contact hung up before the flow finished.

Missed
The contact didn't pick up.
Busy
The line was busy.
Failed
The call couldn't be placed.

Queued
Waiting in line to be placed.
Calling
The call is being placed.
Ringing
Ringing on the contact's phone.
These call statuses drive the Status Over Time chart in a conversation's analytics.
